Overview
It is possible to check in to events using GPS if your institution has configured and enabled this method.
GPS Check In Instructions
Click the calendar button to display your events for the day.
Click the check in button.
If more than one check-in option is available, select GPS.
Your device will open maps to confirm your location.
If location services have been disabled, a warning will appear — enable location services in your device settings and try again.
Click Check In within the maps modal.
A confirmation will show that the check-in process has commenced, followed by a success update.
The event will update to display Attended.
GPS Check In — Out of Area
Your organisation may have configured the app to only allow GPS check-ins within a specified radius of a location. If you are outside that area, you will receive a message in the app informing you that you are not permitted to check in. Please consult with your local support team for further advice.
