A Developer API Key allows an external system to securely connect to the platform.
Important to know: - The key is valid for exactly 90 days from the moment it is created - It expires to the second — it will not work on day 91 - A new key must be generated when it expires
Step 1: Open the Developer Key Menu Click your User Name in the top-right corner of the screen and select Developer Key from the dropdown menu.
Step 2: Generate a New Developer Key A message appears explaining that creating a new key will invalidate any existing key. Click Get Key to continue.
Important: Generating a new key will immediately disable any previous Developer Key.
Step 3: Copy and Save Your Key Your new Developer API Key is displayed. Click Copy to Clipboard and save the key somewhere secure. This is the key that must be used for API access.
Developer Key Expiry
The Developer Key expires exactly 90 days after creation. There is no automatic renewal. Once expired, the API will stop working until a new key is generated.
How to Test Your Developer API Key
After adding the key to your integration or system, save your settings, run a test connection or sync, and confirm the connection is successful.
If the test fails: - Check the new key was copied correctly - Ensure an old or expired key is not still in use
Common Issues
Issue | What to Do

Best Practice
To avoid service disruption, generate a new Developer API Key before the 90-day expiry date.
