This guide explains how you can edit the properties of an Activity or Absence type in your SEAtS application.
Activity Types are options available in the main SEAtS system which you can record against a Student. Activities can be created such as meetings or Absences, and configured to match any policy that may be in place at your organisation.
📝 Note: Access to the Activity Types area is controlled by a permission in Admin site access = Scheduled Activity Types.
Instructions
- Log into the Admin site
- Find Settings on the menu ribbon
- Select Activity Types
- To Edit an activity, select the required Activity / Absence from the list
- The editing screen will display allowing you to make changes as required
- Refer to How to Add an Activity or Absence Type for definition on each criteria option
- Click Save to save any changes
Within the Activity Type screen you will have access to any predefined Activity Types already created. There are a set of preloaded Absences by default — these can be amended or added to using this configuration.
