This guide explains how you can Delete Rooms in SEAtS.

The Room tab within the Admin site allows management of Rooms recorded in SEAtS that can be associated with timetabled events, devices, etc.

Instructions

    • Log into the Admin site
    • Find Devices on the menu ribbon to access the correct area
    • Click on Room to access the Rooms tab
    📝 Note: Deleting a room is only possible if there are no devices associated with it or if it has not had events associated to it. Devices include card readers, beacons or QR codes. This can be checked in the Devices area of the Admin site.
      • Find the room which requires deletion in the list
      • Select the checkbox in the row next to the room
      • Click Delete
      • Click to confirm deletion

      Upon successful deletion, the success banner will display.

      If you try to delete a room with an associated device, an error will be presented and the action will be cancelled. The room–device association will need to be deleted from the Devices area to allow the deletion of the room to proceed.
