Overview

This guide explains how to contact a class, or a subgroup such as attended/absent/physically or virtually attended students. You can also send to personal email addresses and copy notifications to staff.

Instructions

  1. Log in to the SEAtS application.
  2. Navigate to the Lectures dashboard by clicking Lectures.
  3. Filter by date and time to find the appropriate teaching event.
  4. Select the class by clicking the checkbox next to it.
  5. Click the Send Email icon.
  6. Select whether to contact physically attended/scheduled, virtually attended/scheduled, or absent students.
  7. Optionally select to send to personal email addresses and/or send staff notifications.
  8. Populate the fields: To address for staff notifications, subject line, email content, and any templates.
  9. Click Send.
📝 Note: You can also contact students from the Lecture Details page in the same manner, or individually from a student's profile.
