Overview
The calendar screen is where students can view their schedule and check in to classes. It shows today's schedule by default and can be navigated to different dates using the controls at the top.
Checking In
When check-in is open for a class, the event's icon changes to a green check-in button. If multiple check-in methods are available, tapping the button will show the options. Otherwise, the app proceeds to the default method.
Check-in Methods
- QR: Point the viewfinder at the QR code to initiate check in. Alternatively, enter the class PIN code if displayed.
- Bluetooth: The app scans for the Bluetooth beacon associated to the teaching space. If within range, check-in initiates automatically.
- GPS: Use the map displayed to confirm your location, then press Check In.
- Link: Clicking on the class link initiates the check-in process.
During and After Check-in
While check-in is in progress, the checking-in screen is shown. You can view other pages within the app, but do not close the app until check-in completes. When complete, the app shows a green tick to confirm your check-in time. Your attendance status for past classes is displayed on each calendar item.
