This guide explains how to add an attachment or document to a student's profile, including how to add a sensitivity type to an attachment to restrict access, and how to view the attachment in the student profile.
The SEAtS application allows you to attach files to a Student Profile and apply Sensitivity Levels to the attachments. Multiple file types are supported including PDF documents, Word documents, JPEGs, etc.
Accepted File Types
CSV, XML, GIF, PNG, JPEG, HTML, XHTML, ODP, PPT, PPTX, ODS, XLS, XLSX, ODT, DOC, DOCX, PDF, TXT.
Maximum File Size
- Max file size through the Web Site: 3 MB - Max file size through the Admin Site: 79 MB
Instructions
- Log in to the SEAtS application and navigate to the Student Dashboard by clicking Home
- Locate the student you wish to attach a file to by searching for Name or Student Number
- Click on the relevant student to load the Student Profile page
- Click on the Add Attachment icon
- Click File to browse for the file to be attached
- Locate the file and click Open
- Add a Sensitivity Type (A, B or C) to restrict who can view the attachment, if required
- Add a Comment to describe the attachment, if required
- Click Save
The attachment that has been added will now appear in the Student Timeline.
