Overview

This article explains how different Access Profile Permissions affect what users can see and do in the Lectures area of the main SEAtS website.

Permissions Reference

  • Edit: Controls permission to edit Lecture details.
  • Access: Controls access to the Lectures dashboard and Lecture details pages.
  • eAttend: Controls access to view Class Link within the class details page, and the ability to add a Class Link and Virtual Attendance checkbox when editing a class.
  • Merge Class: Controls the ability to merge a class with another class within the same module occurring at the same time.
  • Check-In QR: Controls the ability to display QR codes for students to check in.
  • Export Contact Details: Controls the ability to export a list of students and their contact details (email, phone, address).
  • Send Email: Controls the ability to send emails to students and optionally staff associated to specific classes.
  • Set Attending: Allows the user to set student status as Attending for a class.
  • Export: Controls the ability to generate a CSV export of the Lectures screen data.
  • Attendance Stats: Controls access to the Attendance % column on the Lectures screen.
  • Other Attendance: Controls the ability to mark students with other attendance statuses/excused absences.
  • Cancel Class: Controls the ability to cancel a class from within the class details page.
  • Add Lecture: Controls the ability to add classes from within the Lectures page.
  • Remove from Class: Allows a user to remove students from an event from within the class details page.
  • Set Late: Allows the user to set student statuses to Late within the Class Details page.
  • Delete: Allows the user to delete selected classes.
  • Add Student to Class: Allows a user to add a student to the class where they are not already listed.
  • Move Class: Allows a user to move a class to a different room from within the class details page.
  • Set Absent: Allows a user to set a student as absent from within the Class Details page.
  • Details Chart: Controls access to the charts within the Class Details page.
  • Swap Class: Allows the user to swap the class's location with that of another class occurring at the same time.
