Overview

This guide details the reports available in SEAtS and how each report functions.

Using Filters and Columns

Filters determine the data included in the report. Once applied, use Save Filter to save them in the Saved Filters section (maximum 5 saved filters). After generating a report, use the Columns button to remove or reorder columns. Data can be sorted ascending or descending on supported fields. Reports can be exported to CSV or PDF.

Available Reports

  • Academic Report: Lists students' attendance over a selected date range, showing possible against actual as a percentage.
  • Cancelled Class Report: Details any classes/lectures cancelled within a defined time period.
  • Long Term Absence Report: Lists long-term absence by School as a percentage at 2-week and 4-week periods.
  • Overall Attendance Report: Provides individual student percentage attendance over a specified period.
  • Pastoral By Module Report: Shows attendance pattern data per module. Symbols: - (not scheduled/attended), L (Late), A (Approved Absence), 0 (Absent Unauthorised), X (Session cancelled), S (Absent – Swiped Elsewhere). Filter by specific module or leave blank for all modules.
  • Pastoral By Student Report: Run against a single student, showing attendance for assigned modules and times.
  • Rooms Report: Details rooms with devices based on room data for the previous 7 days.
  • Space Utilisation Report: Displays the number of scheduled classes per school against capacity, indicating where schools can be utilised more effectively.
  • Student Absence Report: Lists students who have been marked as absent.
  • Student Attendance Report: In an unfiltered state, includes all absences. Use the Type filter to show only Attended statuses.
  • Student Created Absence Comment Report: Details student-submitted absences with additional comments.
  • Student Created Absence Report: Details student-submitted absences along with additional attendance metrics.
  • Student Lates Report: Details all students who were marked late for a lecture.
  • Student Unmatched Report: Lists students who swiped into a room they were not scheduled for (Unexpected) or where a student swiped in but had no scheduled event (Unmatched).
