View Selector
The view selector allows the user to choose from the standard or custom views available for the Lectures Dashboard. Any custom personal or shared views will be listed here for selection.
Date and Time Filters
On initial login, the default date will be today. Click into either the From or To date to populate a date picker with a range (such as current academic year or last 30 days). A time filter can also be applied — the default is All Day, but the Time dropdown can filter events occurring during a specific time.
Search Box
The Search option allows a search term to be entered and returns results in the view based on the search term and any other filters applied. This allows searching on events with a specific building, room, or lecturer.
More advanced searching can be carried out using an 'OR' statement within the search term. For example, the search term 'Alma OR Eula' returns the events with Lecturer names Alma and Eula.
Data Sorting Options
The list of events within the dashboard may be sorted according to different criteria to ease viewing.
Filters
Clicking on Filters allows advanced filtering options to be applied to the Lectures dashboard, including: Day(s) of the week, Students, Students Present, School, Course, Module, Lecturer, Campus, Building, Room, Group, Module Group, Mandatory status, Attendance.
Column Configuration
Column Configuration allows data columns in the table to be hidden, displayed or their order of display amended.
