Custom views can be created, saved and shared to save any criteria and filters applied for future use. Column and Layout settings may also be defined, and the custom view may be set for private use or shared for use amongst others. They can also be set as the user's default view.
A custom view or dashboard in SEAtS can provide a tailored and comprehensive view of the data most relevant to the user. This helps users quickly identify trends, patterns, and insights without sifting through irrelevant data. Custom views can be easily customised using extensive filtering and SmartTags for tracking specific student cohorts.
For example, a tutor can use a custom dashboard to track engagement amongst students from their tutor groups, and set it as their default so they can quickly identify any students who are struggling.
Permissions
Ability to view or create custom views is controlled by Access Profile Permissions, with the ability to configure public and private views split across two different permissions.
Define Criteria
Define the criteria for your dashboard by applying filters in the teaching hierarchy, date range and additional filter options within the filter pane.
