Overview

Reports can be obtained from any of the dashboards in SEAtS. Dashboards provide a fully configurable solution for defining lists of students and data components relevant to the user, enabling reporting over any specified time period. Filters, columns, and export options (CSV or PDF) are all configurable.

Available Dashboards

Home Dashboard, Lectures Dashboard, Cases Dashboard, Space Utilisation Dashboard, Activity Dashboard, Approvals Dashboard. Availability depends on your institution's subscription package.

Teaching Hierarchy Filter

The teaching hierarchy filter allows data to be defined by levels such as Faculty, School, Programme, Course, or Module. It appears at the top of the Home, Activity, and Approvals dashboards. Selecting a filter instantly updates the displayed data. Filters are associated — selecting a parent filter (e.g. College of Nursing) will filter all child-level options accordingly.

Additional Filter Options

Home Dashboard — Student profile data (study level, UKVI status, tags, course info), engagement filters (attendance %, engagement level), workflow filters (type, stage, caseworker). Lectures Dashboard — Lecture location, teaching hierarchy, lecturer details, day of week, group information.

Custom Views

Custom views can be created, saved, and shared to save filter criteria for future use.

Column Configuration

Data columns in Home, Lectures, and Approvals dashboards can be added, removed, and reordered to suit user preferences.

Layout Configuration

The Home dashboard layout can be changed between table-only or table with charts. The Lectures dashboard can alternate between calendar view and table view.

Sorting and Exporting

Data can be sorted by different criteria using the Sort By dropdown. Results can be exported as CSV or PDF by selecting items and clicking the export button.
