Overview
This guide shows how to action cases from both the Cases dashboard and Student Profile areas in SEAtS. The standard actions available will differ based on your institution's configurations. Intervention actions can vary between case types.
Permissions
Controlled by: SEAtS Website > Students > Access, Open Case, Focus: Students, Student Profile; and SEAtS Website > Manual Intervention > Access, Add Intervention Step.
Actioning via the Cases Page
Select Cases from the navigation bar. Use the filter builder to narrow the list. By default, cases from the past month are displayed. Click anywhere in the case row to open the Case Details page. Click the plus icon Action button to select from the available intervention actions. Complete the required form for the selected action (e.g. scheduling a meeting) and click Save. A green confirmation banner will appear confirming the update.
Actioning via the Student Profile
- Navigate to the Home page and use filters to find the relevant student.
- Click on the student to open their Student Profile.
- Click on the Cases tab to view current or historic cases.
- Use the buttons to action any cases, including completing manual intervention steps, reassigning, closing, or reopening cases.
